So here is my entry for the letter C. I have tried to keep it simple this time. Originally I decided on Candles, then when I dug out my candles stamps saw the word celebrate as well, so I used both as they seemed to fit in so well. For the background I used Fresco Paints Mermaid, Limelight and Inky Pool.
The lettering is some new stamps from Dylusions I love these letters they are so clear and will be really useful. So there it is better than last weeks I think.

Paperartsy Suzz week
Well here is my first attempt this week. I did not have a frame or anything, so just used a piece of Paperartsy metal on card, now, not go much left, thats another thing for my shopping list. But I really like to effect. I used Mermaid on top of the crackle medium and stamped using Jo Firth Young's stamps which I love and stamped in my all time favourite colour Inky Pool. a bit of Inky Pool round the edges and there you have it.

Sunday Stamper - Birds
Here is my little jewelled Bird, not as much stamping as I would have liked but got carried away with the texture paste, liquid gold, jewels etc etc.
Jo Firth Young Stamps
These recently arrived in the post they are really great and I know I will use them loads they are just up my street. I made a splatted back ground using H2Os and Distressed Stains, stamped in Brilliance Brown Pearl and embossed. I shall finish to off soon, but had to show the stamps.

Paperartsy Challenge Week 3
So mine may be a little different, I dont have a great range of paints, must get some more soon. But what really inspired me was the white pen edging on the tag. I think this is a lovely effect, Thanks Linda. The cord I have used is the left over bits from my jewellery making and a bit of shrink plastic to finish off. The paints I used were Mermaid, Pea Coat and Vintage Lace, and I stamped with Chipped Shappire Distressed Ink. I am pleased with the effect. Very much my style, Ha Ha!!!
H2Os and Distressed Stains
Here is another card I made today using my little pots of H20s and splats of Distress Stains, get great satisfaction from doing the splats. This one is done on watercolour paper.
Using Luminarte H2Os
Have been inspired to dig out the H2Os. I have had these little pots for years and years, and every so often revisit them, I really do love them. Here are two cards I have made.
Snow time projects
Have had snow for over a week now and all the things I usually do during the day being cancelled this has given me loads of time for crafting. Here are a few of the things I have achieved.

Sunday Stamper Dream
Here is my version for this week's challenge, I have done this in portfolio oil crayons, stencils and Paperartsy stamps again favourites of mine.
My favourite Stamp Challenge
This is my favourite stamp its from Hobby Art, wood mounted so you can tell how long I have had it. It has a mini version which is very useful. It is the sort of stamp that I go back to time and time again for whatever occasion and use lots of mediums to create different effects. I had put on two pictures, it is so useful.

More Portfolio Pastels Inspirations
Here are two more of my inspirations thanks to Helen and Paperartsy. Good job its cold as that means there is nothing else to do but stay indoors and craft. I loved the sandpaper idea, but as I was too lazy to go and look downstairs for sandpaper, I know there is some under the sink but I was on a roll so used my sanding block instead. Well cool.

Playing with Promarkers
Having watched the TV and seen the exciting things that can be done with Spectrum Noir pens, I thought I would have a play with my promarkers and see if I could get similar results, here is one which I am pleased with that used coated semi glossy card, and Paperartsy stamps.
Using Portfolio Oil Pastels
Well this week I am not going to "miss the boat". Last week I did a few bits inspired by the Paperartsy Blog but being me posted then too late. So all change this week. I love the Portfolio Pastels so dusted them down off the shelf and dug deep in the Paperartsy Stamp Box. Copied Lin Brown's idea with shrink plastic, and here you have it!!! Quite happy with this one, but will try to do more, hope I am allowed to put in more than one!!!

Alpha Challenge
V is for Vintage Vixens - I bought these stamps before Christmas and had not had time to play till this week, and they fit in perfectly with the 2013 challenge. I had my old school dictionary and have used several of the pages but luck was with me and I had yet to use any pages for the letter V. So here is my journalling page for this challenge

Be back later to show results, hopefully.
