I did not intend to do another page this week but you cant help but be inspired by Pam Thorburn on the Paperartsy site, so decided to have a go with home made washi tape. I used masking tape as that was all I had, painted with Fresco paints and stamped in Archival with various PA stamps .Really pleased with the effect will try to remember to do this again.

Another scrapbook page
Pam Thorburn is guest designer again this week, over at Paperartsy. Love having inspiration for different pages. I followed the principles of Pam's first page and added some elements of her
Second page. I am now catching up on my grandson's album. This page is all about family. The central picture is Thomas and his lovely mum. Top right is my SIL Debbie with Mila and bottom left is my Brother John ( you can tell its his first grandchild!!! His smile could not be bigger, very proud !!) And the final one is Mila. Sorry on more room for more pics.

Inspired by Lucy
Lucy did a lovely post this week on the Paperartsy Blog, using Fimo, and a wine bottle. Well I had to change a little to use what I had in my stash. So I had a jar which I painted as per Lucy's guidance. Stamped on to tissue paper and then stuck to the jar. All good so far. First problem was that I only had air dry Fimo in the stash, so thought I would have a go. When I came to stamp into the Fimo using Lin Browns stamps, the Fimo got all stuck to the stamp. Disaster!!! So for this project I decided to use a texture plate which I pressed the Fimo into and then used cookie cutters to get the shapes right.
I then went out and bought oven bake Fimo this worked better and I got the results in picture 3, but these shapes were too big for my little project, so I have these for another time.
Thanks Lucy and Paperartsy for reminding me about Fimo have used it before, but forgotten about it! Certainly like the effect. Also thanks for reading this rather long post, well long for me!!

Tag book cover
Ellen Vargo is the guest designer on the Paperartsy blog this week. Ellen has several new sets of stamps out, so had to decide which set I could make multi task. Unfortunately can't have them all so I decided on EEV 03. So I prepared three different coloured backgrounds using Fresco paints and Ellen's stamps. I then stamped various pieces to make the flower, etc and similar for the back of the book. The letters are from one of JOFY's new stamps, I really like these letters as I do a lot of scrapbooking. Thank you for looking.

Hearts and more
Here is a Heart design made from a few leftovers. I took a wooden base heart and painted with several coats of Fresco Blood Orange, as this is translucent I did about three coats to get a good colour. Stamped with a little heart I found in one of JOFY's new sets in Sherbet. Next came a layer of silver mini hearts, stamped in black with another Paperartsy mini, then a black layer of hearts just plain, then the last one in red and stamped again with the heart and I filled in the centre with glossy accents, piece of ribbon and there it is.

This is my version of Julie Ann's case over on the Paperartsy blog, she is guest designer this week.
I started with a paper mâché box from my stash, added lots of layers of different Fresco paints then stamped the box with Peeled Paint and one of Darcys new minis. Added ribbon, Treasure Gold and a couple of little tags and some wooden emblishments, again painted etc.

Distressed Inks
Have been playing with Distressed Inks this week so decided to enter this card into the Artistic Stamper February Challenge. Firstly I started by adding several colours in a random fashion, and stamped, then I removed some of the ink with a paint brush and water. Then painted the butterflies, three to stand out and the others in the background. Nearly there then put through an embossing folder, bit of ribbon, message and there it is. Thanks for looking.
