Boxes
I love decorating and making boxes, sometimes I make them complete from card etc and other times I decorate paper mache boxes like this one inspired by Kate Yetter on the Paperartsy Blog.
I have followed Kate's ideas for the most part but added a few bits of my own. The paints are all Frescos, Beach Hut, Haystack, Pumpkin Soup and Mermaid. As I am front Yorkshire and a bit mean or careful I would say, I used one purchased flower and then diecut and colour from paper using Paperartsy Dies, the Dragonfly is also a Paperartsy Die. I have the biggest die from PA but could do with a slightly bigger one please. Thanks for looking.

My Penny Piece
Thanks Penny for taking me well out of my comfort zone this week. Penny is one of the guest designers this week on the Paperartsy blog. This is so not me, but I have really enjoyed it. The Stencisl and paints chutney, Butternut and Tango are all from Paperartsy as is the butterfly stamp. i do have a sewing machine but have not used for years, so decided to hand sew and even added some I think they are called French Knots on the butterfly wings. Did embriodery years ago. Thanks for looking.

Inspired by Sara
This card made with washi tape and an alcohol ink background was inspired by Sara Naumann, who was one of the guest designers on the Paperartsy blog this week. I roughly followed Sara's ideas, but had to use different word stamps. etc etc. Thanks for looking.

Inspired by Liesbeth
Here is my version of Liesbeth's Accordion album. For details of how to make the front and back covers have a look on the Paperartsy blog. I changed the inside just a little as I wanted to add pictures at a later date. So I used some patterned paper and one if JOFY's stamps. Thanks for looking.
Craft Barn Challenge - Mountain

A scrapbook page with no photos
The purpose of this page is to show that you can still do a page of memories when you dont have any pictures. Unfortunately I was unable to go on this particular Garden Visit, so I looked at the website and used my imagination to create a page, which will hopefully inspire my scrapbook group when we meet later this month.
Inspired by Jo
Two cards I made inspired by Jo Firth Young over on the Paperartsy Blog, I am a bit fan of Jo's work and ideas, like her simple lines. For these two I followed the blog but used the stencils I had and mountboard instead of wood. Added a few extra bits and bobs. Thanks for looking.
