Inspired by Alison

More time to spend crafting this week so I have been able to complete another piece. Alison Bomber is the guest designer over at the Paperartsy blog this week. I had not thought of doing a long thin piece, but I was inspired to have a try. My piece is nothing like Alison's but I used similar techniques - I do like painting with the edge of a scrap of card, for this one I used a scrap of mount board taken from my strip. I painted the mount board in Fresco nougat and various shades of blue for the top and again shades of green for the bottom. I then used JOFY stamps on the background, and on to Paperartsy super smooth card, painted and cut out the flowers and added to my piece with a few words.

  4. How fabulous - love the JOFYs against the grassy background, and the bright cheerful colours of the whole thing are so lovely to see on a grey dreary day (which is what I've got today!). Thanks so much for joining in the fun this week.
