Starlight Wax and Structure paste

I am back today with one of my favourite cards. For this card I took a piece of Imagination Crafts card and added Black Starlight Wax through a stencil when dry I then add another layer this time with Structure Paste through the same stencil but just moving the stencil slightly so a small amount of the black is showing. The final step is to add a few pieces of the stencil using Sparkle Medium. Mat as usual and there is my card.

Fabric Relief Paste from Imagination Crafts

Hello I thought I would show you some cards I made with the new paste from Imagination Crafts. Although this is designed primarily for use on textiles this does work really well on card. I have used on canvas bags, T shirts and Fabric, but in the two cards here I have used it on black card with great success.

Canvas pictures

Another post from me today, this time I wanted to show you the canvases I made for Imagination Crafts for their recent shows on Hochanda.  All four were shown so I was very pleased. I used lots of Starlight Paints, Rice Papers, Stencils, ribbons, Structure Paste, Sparkle Medium etc etc.

Cards for men

Today I thought I would show you two cards I made for Imagination Crafts ODS on Honchanda earlier this week.

This first one uses two stencils, the one at the top is a panel stencil and great for flowers or sunshine as here, this is Rich Gold Starlight Paint, the bottom part the car is from an A4 stencil and here I used black Starlight Paint.

Second card is using the A4 car stencil again in Chestnut Starlight Paint for a background and then pieces of Rice Paper mounted on the White card and matted on to gold card. The words are from a great stencil the is just words, I find it so useful.

Next I thought I would add two canvas pieces that could easily be adapted to cards, just to give you a bit more inspiration.

Thanks for dropping by!!!!

Another decorated jar.

Just a quick post today with a little jar decorated with kitchen roll yes kitchen roll. For details of how it is done visit  my Design Team Post at

Easy cards

Here are two simple cards both using products from Imagination Crafts products.

Firstly, this card has been made using Mixed Media Sprays, on a piece of white cardstock. Next stage I used a beautiful butterfly stencil and spread Arctic White Sparkle Medium. I have found that these two products together the Sparkle Medium picks up some of the colour from the sprays, to get a very different effect.

Card number two is so simple, I do love this stencil from Imagination and used in conjunction with their patterned background card and Bronze Alchemy Wax, makes a lovely card.

I hope my simple cards have inspired you to try some of the products mentioned. Thanks for taking time to visit my blog. I would love to hear what you think.

Decorated Bottle

I love up cycling salad dressing bottles. I have done two lately here is bottle number one.

I used scraps of Imagination Crafts Rice Papers, attached to the bottle with decoupage glues. Next stage to add a coat of Lavender Sparkle Medium, got to have a bit of sparkle. The flowers are made from Grunge Paper painted on both sides with Starlight Paints, and die cut using the tattered pinecone die, makes fab flowers. Some raffia ribbon to finish off.

Hope you like this bottle there will be another one soon.

Beautiful Bay Leaf Stencil

Today I am doing my first step by step tutorial on my own blog, previously I have done tutorials for Imagination Crafts and written brief outlines on my blog but this is a first.

I am using Imagination Crafts products throughout.

For the first step I took a piece of gold satin card, attached my stencil with masking tape, I do a top hinge first, then the sides and then tape across the bottom. Next I added Starlight Paints with a piece of cut and dry sponge through the stencil, you can use stencil brushes or a blending tool is quite good too. The colours I used were Hot Pink, Misty Green and Passion Fruit.

Using the same stencil and colours I made two more similar sheets, one in green and one a combination of pink and passion fruit. I then cut out the individual elements.

I then found a piece of pink card for my mat and added Sartlight Paint around the edges to co-ordinate.

I final added all the dimensions together and here is my final card, I just added a few dots of just pearls to complete the card.
