Face No 1

This is my first face for my Clare Lloyd Face Tag Book. I have another face somewhere but I have lost it, what a surprise. I have yet to start on the tag book itself.  Watch this space.

Scarpbooking Page

This page was inspired by Kate Yetter the guest designer over on the Paperartsy Blog this week. i have simplified it a little as I want to use it to inspire my scrapbooking groups. So apologies Kate but this is my version.  Thanks for looking.

Lynne Perrella Stamps

I recently won a set of stamps of my choice on the Paperartsy Blog, so I chose set LPC030. Lynne Perrella Stamps i liked the versatility of these stamps, lots of bits to cut out etc.  Above are three cards I have made so far.

Inspired by Emma

I made this masterboard after watching a fab video on the Paperartsy blog, by Leandra and Emma.  I sort of followed the instructions but used different stamps mainly JOFY stamps, different colour of Fresco paints etc.   I am pleased with the outcome and will cut this up in due course for cards etc etc. Thanks for looking!!

Simple Cards

Three cards this week inspired by Keren over on the Paperartsy Blog. She had lots of ideas that I loved and lots that I am saving for when I have the right stamps. So there will be more coming I promised. Thanks for looking.  I have add my own little twist to them all.

inspired by Lucy

Lucy did an amazing post on the Paperartsy Blog this week, a fab house, using Lin Browns Stamps and Stencils and Fresco paints, as I did not have anything suitable to decorate I made my contribution into a card.  I followed some of Lucy's techniques but as usual added some of my own, I particularly liked Lucy's addition of coloured buttons so had to add some as well. Thanks for calling by to have a look, it is so much appreciated.

More purple flowers

I know its purple again, must be a theme going on here.  Found a new background technique over on the Paperartsy Blog last night, so this post is inspired by Susan Jennings. So I cut 4" square pieces of Thorndean paper (Paperartsy) edged two sides with Treasure Gold and rolled around a pencil with the Treasure Gold showing. The background is Fresco Paints, Moon Light and Lilac and Duty Concord Distressed inks, the main flowers are coloured with Pansy. Plus a few jewels, and there it is.

Purple Flowers

I love the colours Lesley used for her 3 up piece on the Paperartsy, so this is my version.  Lesley did a lovely mirror, but I decided to make my piece into a card, it is similar but I also added my own interpretation!! as you do!! I used JOFY stamps, I just love these stamps.  I added a little embellishment I made from scraps of rats tail left over from a Kumihimo necklace I made, I have got into this weaving while I am not able to rush around as much as I normally do. When I complete my next lot of treatment on Tuesday I will be half way through and all is looking good so fingers crossed!!!

Black and White

This card was inspired by Shirley one of the lucky 3 uppers on the Paperartsy Blog.  Normally when I use Paperartsy products to tends to be lots of colours and layers.  This has lots of layers but I have stayed with black and white card, black ink, versamark and white embossing powder.  The background card is a Paperartsy mini stamp and Fresco Snowflake and Little Black Dress. It is all finished off with a beautiful jewel, this jewel I took from my nieces wedding invitation, it was just too beautiful not to use again.  I have another two, in my stach, saved for special cards!! Thanks for looking.
