One of the things I am really fond of at the moment are Claudine Melmuth's layering stamps, it has taken me a little while to fine the best method to apply the paid to the foam stamp but I think I have it now - its the Tim Holtz blending tool - works really well. Tried just putting the paint on th my craft sheet but had difficulty regulating the amount of paint that went on to the stamp. So here are a couple of my little pieces so far - I dont think it will be long before I invest in a flower one too!!!!!

The Craft Barn Concertina Challenge
Saturday, 12 March 2011
This is my contribution to the Artistic Stamper Sunday Challenge. Just getting into these blog challenges. Here I have used a combination of things, a few leftover grunge letters from my Tim Holtz day, coloured with acrylic paints. The tag is made from mountboard, with a background crackle effect also with acrylic paints and Sheena Douglass inspired daisies., again with acrylic paints. A little freebie craft stamper butterfly stamp completes the picture.

Here goes again
Well my last attempt to get my blog going did not turn out too well, so I am trying again.
I have been trying different effects with Sheena Douglass's painting methods. I first came across these effects about a year ago, but now Sheena has developed stamps it makes life alot easier.
So here are a couple of my effects
