Stamp Book Cover

I also treated myself to some Dylusions Stamps and also with my urge for art journalling, they also needed somewhere to live. So rather than buying a new box, I thought I would use a bit of mountboard, decorated from and make a back (as yet undecorated) get some binder rings and that is it. You may think I am on an economy drive, well yes then there is more for stamps and Dylusions Inks when they arrive!!!!!

new pens need new home

I treated myself to some distressed markers, so they needed somewhere to live. So I made them this lovely little box made using my bind it all machine, mountboard, old paint I want to use up, Paperartsy stamps and a bit of ribbon and there you have it. All nice and tidy which is more than can be said for my Craft Room.

A picture in blue

An old picture frame gets a new lease of life. Paperartsy fresco paints, pea coat, mermaid and white, sticky backed canvas and Paperartsy stamps, plus a few jewels for good luck. Oh and of course a few flowers!!

Sunday Stamper Challenge

Here is my contribution this week. Instead of a tag I have made a door hanging. I think I might well give it to a friend who does alot of sewing. Used TH sewing room die for the model, cotton reels and buttons etc. And of course could not resist pinecone flowers. Although I did manage one or two things this week without them. Ha Ha!!!

Tim Holtz Tag Challenge

Here is my version made with materials I had in my stash. Not exactly the same but on similar lines.

Simon says stamp

This one I created for the above London, Paris, New York theme, just couldnt resist putting a little pinecone flower, the stamp I have had for ages. The background is a Tim Holtz stamp with picket fence stain then stamped and coloured over with distressed inks. Ribbon coloured with Distressed Inks to give an overall co-ordinated look.

Sunday Stamper Challenge

How early am I this week, only because off to childmind for the next three days, and when I get back I will have forgotten all about this little piece. So here is my little tribute to Whitney. Fab lady will never forget the Bodyguard amazing film. Hearts and of course my fav at the moment pinecone flowers.

Mono and one other colour

Now trying to get into more challenges - this card was made using TH distressed ink evergreen bough, which I think is a lovely colour, a clarity stamp I bought at the weekend and like very much and pine cone roses (TH pine cone die but not happy with pine cones) but these roses I just love. Hope you like.

Anything Goes

Here is my first entry for this challenge. Lots of inky layers and stamping and then my favorite thing at the moment. TH pinecone die flowers, struggled to get the cones as good as I would like but Jennie at Stamperama should me how to make little roses so I am now hooked.

Textures

Here is my entry to the stampman Textures challenge - there are lots of layers on this little hanging made from a die cut piece of mountboard, more mountboard flowers and grungepaper flowers to top off. To add to the rustic colours I added a hanging of a piece of garden twine!!

Pine flowers

I made this little piece after going to the Stamperama Show and watching a demo by Jennie, I had the TH pinecone die but found them quite hard to do. But the roses are so much easier and I just love them.

Hearts

Her is my entry to the Artistic Stamper Challenge, love hearts. This has lots of layers of ink, stamping and a grungepaper butterfly. Hope you like. Margaret

Saturday and so cold

Woke this morning to find that the condenser part of boiler had frozen, I did not know it was that cold but after alot of phone calls, some to BG who were as usual not at all helpful (although I have a service contract with them) and calls to others who were extremely helpful,I managed to defrost and touch wood it is now working. So able to finish this little hanging and I am really pleased.

Altered Art

This is a little piece I made a couple of weeks ago which I have sent to a crafting friend, which she has received so now I can post a pic. It took quite a bit of work, the paint used is Paperartsy Fresco paints Inky Pool it is a fab colour - love their paints!!!! Lots of embellishments etc all made of mountboard cut out from Sissix dies and my trust machine.

Stampman Challenge - Embellishments

So this one is call "over the top in embellishments" I thing you can see why. My inspiration came from seeing the mouldable art sheets used so decided to have a go with the black flowers and the butterfly. All the flowers are from TH tattered flowerals die, which I absolutely love. Pluse a lot of back ground layering of colours and inks etc and stamping with Studio 490 stamps.

Art Journaling

Now this I am pleased with, I have been thinking about Art Journaling for a while and never really understood, so did a bit of research on the internet and watched Dyan R's video clip for Paperclippings and understood better. So this is my first attempt which is just on a piece of water coloured paper. I have ordered a proper journal and would like to get some of Dyan's inks when they are in stock. I did enjoy it and hope to go on a course or two later in the year.

Sunday Stamper - Bubbles

Well its all abit late. I missed the deadline, so what else is new, never mind was not very pleased with it anyway, but as I did the work I thought I would show it anyway.
