I have done a couple of samples using Imaginations new Alchemy Wax. This has a lovely texture and is water soluble so can be used to paint with.
For both these samples I used stencils and applied the wax with a piece of cut and dry, the matts around the butterfly were also made using the same wax, so I achieved a great colour match, just a case of measuring the matts to fit.

The first one uses the Lauren die only plus flowers, ribbon and pearls.
The second uses the matching stamp and the usual flowers and embellishments.

New Die set
I think this die set from Creatve Expressions will be a useful die for quick simple cards. For the background I used left over starlight paints, mixed with a little water and random stamping, gives a great background. Then I die cut the message twice in different shades, and offset to give a better effect, added a couple of silver hearts to add dimension. Thanks for looking.

Missing from the last post
The final piece in my set of five this one, I stamped on a piece of patterned paper and coloured with Clean Colour water colour pens.
One stamp different styles
For my post today, I used one stamp in five different ways.
So three are using Starlight paints, one just painted, next one, I created a background using paint on my craft mat and then coloured the negative space, finally stamped on to black card.

Now a bit of stamping and paper piecing.

New Stamps
Paperartsy have a new designer, Kay Carley, I have always loved Kay's still of stamps so was very pleased to see her join the Paperartsy team. There are two new sets, so far I have just one but will have the other sometime soon. So here are a few ideas. I have used different mediums for each, Clean Colour water pens, coloured pencils, paint etc.

Back to Paint
I have been watching the Periscope posts from Paperartsy which has inspired me to get out my Fresco paints and produced a couple of masterboards from which I made the following.
Hearts and Daisies
Just managed another post for the Paperarsty challenge using Lin Brown's new release stamps. Started with a piece from one of my masterboards, then stamped and die cut. Then again in gold on black card for a contrast. Sticklers completes the effect.

Sheena Douglass stamps and dies
This week I got to play with the new Home Life stamps and dies, great stamps and dies. I particularly like to seed packet die. Can see lots of uses for that one. On the seed packet samples I have used Distressed Inks throughout and on the baking one I have used Versafine and Clean Colour Watercolour pens. Love pink utensils!!!! Thanks for looking.
U3a Scrapbooking
Here is the sample for our next session if you would like to make similar, if not bring your own pages to work on.

Sue Wilson Stamps and Dies
I have been a busy bee lately these samples are ones I started during my demo session at Keep on Crafting on Saturday. I feel sometimes it is necessary to explain the potential of Sue Wilson dies to customers which is just what I did, so did not complete anything. So found a bit of time to finish off. There are still so many ideas rushing round in my head so there may well be more!!!!
