Monday morning saw me at the station at 5.30 am, yes I am mad. Off to Abingdon to Country Loves Crafts for a Shabby Chic workshop with Andy Skinner. I had a fab day learnt some new techniques. Here is one of them a frame using modeling paste, stamps, paint , Ice Stickles and a few butterflies made from Clearly for Art modeling film. This is just one of the many things I did, had a great day. Well I actually started this on Monday but its been a busy week so painted and finished off today.

So here is my artwork for the Bingo Challenge,as the title of the post says its Flowers, Buttons and Vintage (the buttons are definitely vintage my mother collected buttons so they are quite old and I have a wonderful collection). Obviously Dylusions background and used for painting too, lace and ribbons from TH lace die, Wendy V stamps, and of course I have to have my favourite pinecone flowers, all made from my Dylusion sprayed papers.

Colours of Spring
Really enjoyed this challenge, love the spring time and after a few warm days things are coming on lovely in the garden, but now its raining and I know we need it here in the East. Anyway on to the challenge, started with a piece of mountboard cover with Portfolio Pastels and worked from there just random thinking never really know where I am going when I start out. But pleased with the final results. Flowers are stamped on to stickybacked canvas to give a bit of texture.
