Helen Chilton is the guest designer this week at Paperartsy. I love the splatt technique, although I have just found some odd spots on my computer screen, never was very tidy!!! I used Distressed Stains - Dusty Concord, Spiced Marmalade, Fired Brick, Wild Honey, Faded Jeans and a bit of Picket Fence. For the stamping my first effort I used 1009 (I prefer the results on this one the bleaching worked better) and for my second one I used 1109, splatts are more spaced out on this one and this spaced out technique I often use for scrapbook background paper.
Wonderful splats, so vivid! I love it!

I haven't tried this technique yet, (still can't get through the child-safe bleach bottle!) and I don;t have many stains to splat with. However, these look fabulous, I love them.
ReplyDeleteWow gorgeous, I really would like to try the bleach effect but not had the courage to have a go lol :-) Kezzy xxx
ReplyDeleteLove the colours, especially on the first card. The bleach worked really well.
