Stamping on to material/sewing
I have not done much stamping on to material and I am not the worlds best at sewing. Although I did run two workshops making Felt Corsages this week, but that was mostly die cutting and glue and the odd button to sew on and a broach pin, which is why some of my samples did not have pins attached. So it was quite a challenge for me to come up with anything for the Paperartsy Blog Challenge this week but I managed the stamping ok. Then the paint again was good, so I finally made this little card from my efforts.

Texture and colour
This is my texture and colour piece. I started with a blank canvas board, painted with Fresco paints, added more paint to Paperartsy Grunge paste and applied through a stencil and a homemade stencil from the Tattered Floral die. I found some nice words and a butterfly both Paperartsy stamps. Added some buttons and glitter to finish my piece. Thanks for dropping by!!

Inspired by Alison
Alison Bomber is the guest designer over on the Paperartsy Blog this week ,I really like her style. So was inspired to create this piece using some old packaging material and three tags. I followed some of her instructions but add a few ideas of my own. All the stamps are Paperartsy, I used some Archival Ink in Russet and Distress Inks, Vintage Photo and Gathered Twigs. Butterflies have wire instead of thingys (antenna I think that is what they are called sorry about spelling).
Wedding Corsage
I am off to a wedding next week, and having got a new dress to go with a jacket I have had for ages, I felt the jacket needed dressing up a bit. So I made this little piece. I cut 9 organza circles in three different sizes, burnt the edges with a tea light added some pearls in the middle and there you have it.
I have also made all the favour boxes for the wedding reception but cant show these till after the wedding so watch this space.
Thanks for dropping by!!!
