Lin Brown's new stamps

Here are a few of the things I have done so far with Lin Brown's new stamps for Paperartsy.

The top and bottom ones are along the same lines, I stamped the flowers on th black card and embossed, made a background from Paperartsy Fresco Paints, by wetting watercolour card and applying more water and getting the paint to run.  The bottom card is actually paint I had left on my craft matt after I had made the background for the piece in the middle. On the bottom one I had cut some of the flower away as it was too small to cut round so I replaced it with cord from my stash of odd bits.

The middle one, well this little stamp just shouted at me "The House in the Clouds", well that is what I have always know it as.  It is a house that is literally in the clouds it is on the Suffolk Coast at Thorpeness near Aldburgh, I am sure some of you will know it. I am currently working on another one using the houses, but that will have to wait for another day now, the light is fading and I find it harder to craft as the light fades. Old age!!!!

Thanks for looking.

  1. Wow Margaret, you have been busy. I'm thrilled that you like my new stamps and I love what you did with the little house. It's like one of those that you see in the Maldives!!!

  2. I love what you've done here, Margaret! Those flowers of Lin's look so beautifully dimensional! I do like that little house too! xx
